I grew up in the Boston area and was fully immersed in the Boston sports culture. Professional life took me elsewhere so the Sports Museum has been on my bucket list for many years, and I finally got a chance to visit earlier today. I...More

I wasn't really sure what to expect when this was labeled as Sports Museum. This was a full fledged tour with a lot of interesting facts and history. My two teenagers enjoyed it. I am not a big sports fan and I enjoyed it. Our...More

The Sports Museum was awesome. Joe walked us through the halls and different levels of the Garden. He had so much information about all the Boston sports teams. He gave us plenty of time to get some great pictures and really take in all the...More

Great to get to visit the top floor but after that this is a really poor excuse for a museum. Being escorted past a few glass cases of pictures and shirts is not a museum, no interaction, no changing rooms, no trophies, no interaction -...More

I'm glad we went during off-season and got a behind the scenes tour. Otherwise, it's not a museum, it's a tour of mostly pictures and a few jerseys. But we went in late August and got to go inside the hockey and basketball visitors' locker...More

The GIFT shop had a few Red Sox items and the tour had a couple of poorly staged carvings/statues of players from all sports. Interesting pictures and display cases of Bruins and some Celtics memorabilia along the corridors. Interesting way to spend a rainy morning....More

It was a nice behind the scenes tour of TD Gardens. We got to see the visiting team locker rooms. It would have been better if we had more time to peruse the many framed photos along our tour journey. Standing on the main floor...More

This place is amazing! They have everything relating to Boston Sports history from programs from the Patriots inagural season to the penalty box from the old garden you can go into. They have everything from every team!

So if it's in-season or playoffs, are you only to able to see memorabilia but not the floor or locker rooms? Thanks for clarifying!

Yes, you are correct! When you come in for a tour during off-season, that is when our tour guides will bring everyone down to the arena floor and the visiting team's locker room. But when it's in-season/playoffs, the tour... More
