The Institute of Contemporary Art is located by the beautiful harbourside. The build itself is stunning and part of it overhangs the water's edge. When you are in the museum, don't miss out going to the long room that runs the width of the building...More

I loved this museum and the choice of exhibits on display when I went. I was, however, discouraged because it boasts 4 floors, and exhibits are only on the 4th floor. I wish they took more advantage of their space to showcase more art, then...More

Contemporary art is always a controversial attraction. Some hate, others admire or love. The attractions of the Institute of Contemporary Art follow the rule. The collection is small and of questionable quality to those who are not fans of contemporary art. And even for the...More

The experience at this museum now is somewhat of an issue. The Seaport where it is located feels like a construction site , which can be both exciting and also a hassle. Parking is expensive, so if you can help it do not drive there...More

The location overlooking Boston Harbor is spectacular. The building design with its huge cantilevered gallery is amazing. The artwork was creative and unusual, but not as interesting nor diverse as Mass MOCA. Unfortunately, parts of the gallery were closed to set up new displays. The...More

Amazing location and great views but we didn't realize that 3 galleries were closed till July 26. So it was our fault for not checking the website but still enjoyed the time we were there and went for a treat to 'Flours' after

Fun spot and beautiful view on the water. Museum is quick walk through but interesting. Fun to sit outside after and look out at Boston Harbor.

This museum is an architectural marvel, and deserves a visit just to take in the breathtaking view of the harbor from the long cantilevered gallery. The art exhibits themselves are, well, contemporary, but they change frequently. Sometimes they will be weird or disturbing and sometimes...More

Haven't been here in a while. This is a beautiful modern building on the Boston Harbor. The main exhibit was one I had seen at the Perez in Miami. It was enjoyable and interesting. This building used to be by itself. Now it is surrounded...More

Sorry,we took the train. There is lots of construction in the area. Safety is relative. As always be aware of your surrounding. Lots of locals, students, conventions and tourists.
