This was our second visit to the ICA, the first being when it first opened in 2006. One of the most appealing parts of a visit is the building itself, designed by Sofidio + Renfro. Both the site (directly on the water and in Boston's...More

Arrived before opening, and wandered around the front to sit on the stairs by the Harbor. It is in a great spot to take in the harbor view, somewhat protected from the wind and rain. Once the museum opened, went in to check it out....More

I am not a big fan of modern art, but am often dragged to this type of museum. This one is better than most, including the Tate in London. The location and view are also very impressive.

We went on Christmas Eve and it was very quiet. The staff were friendly. There were not a great deal of exhibits and no cafe. There was a corridor with a great view over the harbour. Although our visit was pleasant, we were a bit...More

Went there with a group of students and wasn't impressed or excited. This place is definitely for arts people and not for everyone. The artist also has a major narcissistic side to her.

I wasn't expecting to enjoy this museum as much as I did because of some other reviews I'd read but my two millenials and I had a good time viewing the main gallery with a show of work by Mark Dion, including his amusing 'Library...More

Some friends encouraged me to come here on Thursday evening, as soon as the free night starts (5PM), just to sit in front of their giant windows and watch the harbor as the sun goes down. They were right, as it was lovely, and while...More

I have been to this museum when it first opened but did not check out the museum gift shop until yesterday. It is a must stop after visiting the museum or if in the neighborhood just to go there only. It is one of the...More

Sorry,we took the train. There is lots of construction in the area. Safety is relative. As always be aware of your surrounding. Lots of locals, students, conventions and tourists.
