Kurt was knowledgeable and informative but also funny with a little self deprecating humor thrown in for good measure. I loved all the unflattering stories of Boston’s past. Loved it so much I became a member of Boston by foot! Thanks Kurt! For those coming...More

The Boston by foot tour is probably the best tour that you can do. They specialize in walking tours for small groups (ours was 6-7 people max) and the docents are all retirees in love with the history, art, architecture and literature that the city...More

We took the "Road to Revolution" tour with Jan and it was fantastic. The group consisted of 5 people so it felt like a private tour. All of us were really engaged in the history. Jan was full of details and very passionate about the...More

Had a private tour for 20. Lots of information about the rapidly changing South Seaport district. Daryl wrote this tour with another guide and she really knows her stuff

We really enjoyed the two hour freedom trail tour. Willa was an awesome guide and for Australians (i.e. no American history elementary school education!) she pitched it perfectly. Even the frequent rain couldn't dampen it!

Our guide, Kathleen was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, she brought the history of the freedom trail alive. These tours are led by volunteers who obviously love living inBoston. Very reasonable way to learn about the amazing history of our revolution. What a treat!

We did the Freedom Trail which took about 2 hours. Guy was our guided and was very knowledgeable, fluent, and told some great stories. All guides are volunteers and give up their time for free. There is no pressure at the end of the tour...More

Visit this historic and ritzy Boston neighborhood to
soak up its classic New England charm as you stroll
down cobblestoned, gas-lamp lined streets. Bring your
walking shoes, camera, and select a nice day to wander
through the hilly neighborhood and check out its
exclusive addresses. Louisburg Square, Mt. Vernon
street, Chestnut street and the extremely narrow and
widely photographed Acorn street make a nice walking
