We went in the early morning and was able to get a reduced price for doing so which was a nice treat. The price included all the climbing gear. We received a brief introduction from the staff as I've near climbed before. There was other people and kids there but we had enough space to climb several times without bumping... More

Our leadership team went there to do some physical team building exercise. It was fun and exhaustive (for our hands). They have friendly staff who guides you throughout. Great for kids as well I imagine. Don't fear falling down - they have got it covered. Visited in Oct 2014.

My teenage son and I frequent Rock spot climbing facilities, because we can be together in an environment where he won't feel embarrassed to be with his mom. The people who work and play there support everyone in their rock climbing passion.

I have been to the Sprague Street location several times with my young kids (6 - 13 years old, boys and girls) and they love it. We usually buy a 10 pack of visits to try to keep the costs manageable and stay for about an hour doing bouldering. The kids always leave exhausted and with blisters on their hands... More

I went here through classpass and got a private beginner's lesson. It was really nice because they worked with me individually to make sure I was comfortable with different types of climbs. The instructors let me climb with them after which was really fun. -Very kind, helpful, coaching staff -Not crowded -Has lockers, free shoe rentals, and filtered water fountains... More

I take my 3 boys to Rock Spot quite often. The place is wonderful for exercise, especially during winter months. There are many options for them either on the bouldering wall or to belay. The outside does not look too exciting, but the inside offers hours of entertainment. They also offer lessons for adults. We would definitely come more often... More

Don't let the appearance of the outside deceive you! Prior to going to Rock Spot we had gone to another facility in MA that is HUGE. The first time we pulled up to check it out, my kids were disappointed before we walked in, because it was so much smaller appearing on the outside than the other place. But once... More

I took my friend for her birthday to this place. Fell off the bouldering wall and shattered my heel into iddy biddy bits. It's been over nine months and still recovering with a life altering injury and chronic foot pain. Our instructor was nice and it was fast response when I went to the hospital, I'd just think twice before... More

For the occasion person stopping in its the luck of the draw. There are some great knowledgable staff and some staff that do little more than staff the desk. As a member you get to know the good from the bad. The good really know there stuff and are interested in seeing you progress.
