Grand Circle Gallery celebrates a passion for travel and commitment to the...

Grand Circle Gallery celebrates a passion for travel and commitment to the arts through travel-themed exhibits that teach and inspire. Special emphasis is given to our extensive collection of vintage travel posters that date from the early 20th century up to World War II, highlighting the “Golden Age of Travel.” The poster collection evokes a romantic era when traveling was strictly for pleasure and discovery.Grand Circle Gallery is housed in Boston’s Fort Point Channel district, in a historic 19th-century brick building whose first tenants were Chase & Co., a confectionery company that patented America’s first candy machine in the early 1800s. As New England’s textile industry grew, these buildings were later used as storage for the wool trade. Today, 347 Congress Street serves as the headquarters of Grand Circle Corporation, provider of unique, international vacations for Americans over 50.For more information on current exhibits, to schedule a private tour, or to inquire about space rental, please visit our website.Gallery hours: Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, noon-6:00pm and Thursday, noon-7:00pm. Admission is always FREE and the gallery is handicap accessible.

My wife & I did not rate the overall QUALITY or VALUE very high. The pacing was too fast, ship (new to GCT) , had mechanical problems, never quite on schedule, # days alloted much too short, for distances required to travel. It cost us $1,465/per day, ($732.per person), had to travel great distances, saw very little, and it was... More

Picture gallery - travel agent - very good. The gallery is exciting. Fun to visit. Full of posters from several countries. Photos from photo artists are remarkable. They are all well known artists. The travel agent is mostly concentrated on cruises. Office people are really helpful. They give you very good ideas. Nice people.

We spent 14 days aboard the River Rhapsody going from Amsterdam to Vienna. The whole trip was wonderful. The accommodations, the food, the tours, the staff, just everything was great. We highly recommend Grand Circle

Neighbourhood Profile
Seaport District / South Boston Waterfront
This area has been expanding and becoming more and more popular, for good reason. Not surprisingly, the seaport district of South Boston is located beautifully along the water. The area is designed for easy strolling along the HarborWalk, and there are bars and restaurants for all ages and budgets. The Institute of Contemporary Art is located in this area in a contemporary building with an absolutely stunning deck overlooking the water. In the summer time there are Friday music concerts on the deck of the museum. Nearby, there are many green spaces to enjoy.
