Very attractive hall built I think in the 1890's with excellent acoustics except under the firtstbalcony overhang,Seats are very uncomfortable and with little leg room except for front of orchestra.Gift shop, cafe and some small exhibits.

Mozart with Mitsubishi Uchida sublime concert in a hall with first class acoustics. BSO concert should not be missed.

Venue is majestic, especially when decorated for special events over the holidays. But too much seating has been crammed in, detracting from full enjoyment of the lovely venue and tremendous performances.
