I always take out-of-towners to this beautiful, grand church and monument to an amazing woman. Almost all of them never heard of it before and would not have seen it if I hadn't insisted. Without exception, they all are fascinated and thank me for taking...More

This has beautiful architecture and infinity pool near the Prudential Center. Also has the Mapparium in the Mary Baker Eddy Library. Near The Prudential Center a great place to hang out on a nice day.

They got a great scenic spot that drew us in to check it out. Quite grand. We did the full walk around the water. Yes it's worth seeing and there's sometimes things going on outside here.

The Mapparium is out of date (technically), but the tour guides will tell you why. And what ABOUT the religious metaphysicians of the mid-19th centuryt and the 'Religious Science' and 'New Thought' movements that breathed from Transcendentalism.

It's an interesting experience for people who aren't familiar with this Christian church. It's good that it's free, the tour included, though the mapparium isn't really worth the money($6).
