Of course on Valentines Day when we happened to be in Tupelo we absolutely wanted to visit Elvis's birthplace! Since my husband shares the same birthday as Elvis, he has idolized him and his music and collected memorabilia for decades. We knew a lot of the story of his life but we even learned some new tidbits at the Tupelo... More

We stopped here on the way to Graceland in Memphis. Am so glad we did. Enjoyed the video, buildings, church building and "service" - very unique! Got a few souvenirs and I'm glad we did as the ones at Graceland were priced much higher than here.

I didn't really know what to expect but I had tons of fun. Learned a lot about his life and how interesting he was! I can't wait to go back one day

We arrived at 3:35 pm and asked to buy tickets for the grand tour-1 adult, ($17), 1 senior($14), & 1 student($14). We were rather abruptly told we could only do a partial tour because the last chapel tour is at 3:30 and they close at 5:00. She insisted that it would take 2 hours to do it all. When I... More

I thought this might be another overly commercialized tourist trap. But what I found was a quiet. peaceful respectful location where reflection and meditation came effortlessly. We arrived before the "museum" portion was open. But thankfully the house and the outside attractions are accessible at all hours. No, we didn't tour the inside of the house or the museum. Didn't have... More

I was surprised at how much there was to see here, and could have spent a whole day wandering around. It gave a real insight to some of the influences on Elvis's early life. Surprisingly inexpensive for what was offered.

You really get an understanding of who Elvis was and where his influence came from. This is a wonderfully organized and informative museum grounds. It may be small, but the wealth of information you get is amazing! We'll worth a visit!

Interesting & informative. Elvis was born here & lived here for 13 years. There is a lot to see at a very reasonable price.

While in Tupelo my husband and I made a special trip to Elvis Presley's birthplace and museum. Very interesting and informative . I am sure the grounds are beautiful in the spring and summer.
