The staff was very knowledgeable and gave first hand experiences of paranormal experiences in this house. Fun to see how people lived back in the day

I have toured the house several times and have gotten incredible ghost pictures. I loved it and will defiantly go back again sometime since it is also so full of history

I bought tickets along with a ghost tour so I was able to visit the Whaley House the next morning. The staff was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. They were able to answer any and all questions I had. The house has been kept in amazing condition along with the belongings from the family and the era. There are rooms you... More

I'm really into ghostly stuff and this house is amazing. I found ghostly activity almost every time I've been here. Bring your camera and take several pics in all the rooms. Day time you can take your time and go through on your own pace and night time is a guided tour. Oct is very busy so if you go... More

The Whaley House Museum is located in Old Town Sand Diego and since this was our first trip and it was at night we weren't sure where to park. But just down the side road is a public parking lot which was perfect. There were folks on the porch waiting or walking around but there was someone dressed up selling... More

Our guide was soft spoken and long winded. The tour is only a few rooms, and they packed 20 or more of us in. Sit in one room, hear a long explanation of what happened, followed by much paranoia hype, and off to the next room to do it again. I would have liked touring the house without the guide.... More

Husband and I took our 15 year old son to the Whaley House Museum for the evening tour and had a wonderful time! Our tour guide (Patty) was super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the tour much more fun. We loved the intrigue, suspense, plus learning about the Whaley family and the house itself. I personally love historic buildings, so had... More

This really felt like just visiting another old house, and I've seen more interesting ones. Employees who were dressed for the time period offered little or no help or information. Three of them were standing in the second floor hallway busy talking with each other and we had to squeeze past them to see the bedrooms, etc. Very narrow halls,... More

The tour guide gave a interest facts and tibbets about the Whaley family and differents areas of the house where ghost have been seen, although didn't see any that day, the downstairs study is decorated with pieces from the Whaley family the rest is decorated from that era, the price was $13.00, $8.00 for seniors which goes toward restoration.
