This is one of my favourite parts of San Diego. Tucked behind the Mormon Battalion just outside Old Town this area is made up of a cul-de-sac of wooden houses moved to this location from elsewhere. One is a little museum, the others aren't open but you can wander right up to them. When we went there was only us... More

We enjoyed strolling the grounds around each of these beautiful homes at Heritage County Park that have been relocated to this new location from where eachnwere originally built in the city. The detailing of the exterior craftsmanship represents a time gone by. The interior of the homes must have been just as beautiful. One can only image as the homes... More

Drive this street to the to the Tee House. There are some beautiful restored homes that a worth looking at to see old San Diego. Besides the restored homes there is a nice park and a temple that is open. Great photo opportunity.

Since there were several families in the park celebrating birthdays or anniversaries, I decided to keep my distance and view from afar. This block and the victorian homes are absolutely gorgeous. I can only imagine what it would've been like when they were originally built and people lived there.

Several late-1800s homes restored in Old Town. Painted in period appropriate colors and nicely landscaped. Good information about the history of each home and the old Beth Israel synagogue. Only Beth Israel and the Senlis Cottage are open inside. Great for walking around and feeling the history of San Diego.

There was more to this park then I expected. They have quite a few Victorian homes. Each home is in a different style. Each place is very well maintained. They also have the areas first synagogue. You can go inside and see what it is like. I would highly recommend stopping and checking out this park. Great visit if you... More

Absolutely gorgeous collection of Victorian homes and a synagogue. Virtually no descriptive material and two full time rangers who seem to know or care little about the houses. Their job seems to be to sit at their desks and talk to each other. No tours. No info.

I stumbled on this delightful little park adjacent to Old Town. It is basically a short cul-de-sac lined with original Victorian homes in all this historic glory. Helpful signs give you then origins of the homes and point out architectural highlights and features. Worth a few minutes of your time.

This pleasant park located near Old Town San Diego (just up the hill) is a fine example of the Victorian architecture of wealthy San Diego residents in the late 1880s-1890s. If you like architecture with a little history thrown in, it is worth your half hour to stop. There is a tea room in one of the mansions, and the... More

We went for walk from our hotel and found Heritage Park Victorian Village. It was early morning and everything was close. It was nice someone had the for thought of preserving these beautiful homes.
