Generally, art can be described as being "beautiful" but only one or two images I saw in this museum could fit that description. The rest of the exhibits (aerial photos of the Mexico/US border area, fat naked man photos, naked woman rolling around on the...More

My expectations are usually low when walking into a museum dedicated to photography, but the exhibits here were engaging, informative, and varied. In terms of art, I feel for photographers in terms how they will make art from their chosen medium... there are always a...More

The art museum was closed, so we came here instead. I must admit that I am not really into photography, so this wasn’t my cup of tea. But honestly, for the price they charge, it wasn’t a huge museum. Not worth it to me.

We came here without knowing about the Genesis exhibit, so were lucky to see an outstanding collection of photographs by world-renowned Salgado. Give yourself plenty of time--it's a large exhibit and a lot to take in--very powerful images you will want to linger on.

We were there for an exhibit called "Genesis" with beautiful photos of places that are hard to access, giving a glimpse of what the world was like before modern life. This work was really stunning. There are still a few unspoiled (or nearly so) places...More

If you like or love photography you will enjoy this display. I am not a lover of photography but am learning to appreciate it. When I was there they had an ansel adams show.
