Visited recently during a short trip to San Diego. The Botanical Building is lovely and we enjoyed watching the ducks swimming in the Lily Pond. Just beautiful!

I loved the orchid collection and the unique architecture of the building, but wasn't so impressed with the rest of the collection. Regardless, it's worth a free walk around and a photo or 2 or 3.
