This is a lovely beach with Amenities right on the boardwalk such as restaurants at different price points and amusement park rides. It is in an upscale area great for families.

There's lots to do on the boardwalk. I found the boardwalk to be a bit dirty and quite crowded. That said, I would like to go back and rent roller blades or bike down the boardwalk.

We had a house just on Mission Bay rd. 2 minutes away from Boardwalk. Either in the morning and at sunset you can spend a lot of time walking or running along the ocean. Wonderful.

This beach had many things to offer a visitor like a one stop shop. You should try the loaded fries from Mr.Ruribertos so delicious it can feed 2-3. We also stop to buy the family members back home a bunch of souvenir's from Miss Mission...More

I love a morning ride down the boardwalk toward South Mission Beach. The ocean is so calm early in the morning, and often you can see surfers and occasionally a dolphin or sea lion in the surf. It's not too crowded early, but becomes more...More

Many years ago a lawyer friend of mine got this path widened. It now has room for all, with walking and bike lanes. It stretches from south Mission to PB, good for work outs

The boardwalk is really really nice, I just love the athmosphere, the laid back attitude and at the same time the perfectly manicured house lingering the boardwalk. It is a place of freedom like no other. I would dream to own a house here and...More

I'm not sure. I was going to go on public transit from Mission Bay to La Jolla but tried Uber for the first time so my trip out there was free and to get back it was $9. I'd get on the public transit page and look for... More

I'm not sure as I was there at lunch. I did walk the area around 8 pm and felt most places were closed.
