It was a bit windy on the day we walked around, but very sunny. There were some funny street performers: magicians, human statues, etc. Seemed like a popular place as it had a lot of people walking around the area.

This is a nice walk along the sea front. It's popular - so it's busy. Wach out for joggers, cyclists, dog walkers and other people in general. You see people from all walks of life along there. Lots of tourist souvenir stalls and ice cream shops.

San Diego is a beautiful city and the waterfront experience is a highlight. Everything is close from the airport, the cruise terminal, downtown, the mall, and the harbor access. Each of the "villages" such as Little Italy and Gaslamp Quarter are accessible on foot. The trolley system from the harbor area is excellent.

We walked the 2.5 or so miles from the Sheraton Marina (by the airport) several times. Easy walk, nice sidewalks, some restrooms and many sights for the visitor to enjoy as you pass sailboats, and museum ships at anchor, while working off some of that great SD food.

If you wanted to escape the polluted city and relax, this is one of the place in San Diego you shoudnt missed. The piers, museum and how close it is to downtown. While walking you can feel the sea breeze and also restaurants are good, plus while eating the view in front are amazing with a sunset!

Originally went to here to see the sand castle competition and saw so much more. There were numerous events going on that day. Also their are several shops and restaurants along the walk. There is the navy pier, museums and harbor tours. We walked to sea port village and enjoyed that as well. It was definitely a full day and... More

When in San Diego, be sure to go to the Bay Walk, whether to spend time in Seaport Village, the Midway (see rating for Midway), or just enjoy the air, water, and people watch, this is a must-do stop.

We have had four days of enjoying this city, our hotel the Grand Hyatt was conveniently located close to the bay so we enjoyed day and evening walks along the bay.
