Really great walk and sit area

Walk and have a seat to watch the water or jump on a bike taxi. Around the USS MIdway is a nice memorial to Bob Hope and the USO.

In the San Diego bay, you will find a breath of fresh air, time to relax and watch the impressive private yachts that hover in the marina. Luxurious hotels are in the area, as well as lots of restaurants, shops and bars. Its a great spot for when the sun sets.

What a pleasant discovery. You can take a good, long walk around here and never be wrong. The wideness of Bay Walk allows for you to feel uncrowded and to enjoy the views. There are plenty of good restaurants offering fine dining, and not so much, with views to the bay, finding "the one" for you is a matter of... More

The San Diego Port District has been working on a 'circular' walk/bicycle route around San Diego Bay for years. It is here now and worth dong

Enjoyable walk with many restaurants along the way. Sail boats, SUPS, and jet ski rentals available. Can catch the ferry to Coronado Peninsula.

It was a bit windy on the day we walked around, but very sunny. There were some funny street performers: magicians, human statues, etc. Seemed like a popular place as it had a lot of people walking around the area.

This is a nice walk along the sea front. It's popular - so it's busy. Wach out for joggers, cyclists, dog walkers and other people in general. You see people from all walks of life along there. Lots of tourist souvenir stalls and ice cream shops.

San Diego is a beautiful city and the waterfront experience is a highlight. Everything is close from the airport, the cruise terminal, downtown, the mall, and the harbor access. Each of the "villages" such as Little Italy and Gaslamp Quarter are accessible on foot. The trolley system from the harbor area is excellent.

We walked the 2.5 or so miles from the Sheraton Marina (by the airport) several times. Easy walk, nice sidewalks, some restrooms and many sights for the visitor to enjoy as you pass sailboats, and museum ships at anchor, while working off some of that great SD food.
