We stayed at the Manchester Grand. It was easy access to Seaport Village. Walked several times around the bay. Just a lovely area. Many things going on from one end to the other.

We walked and tried biking along the bay...pedestrians and other bikers have overwhelmed the walkway. Lines for the numerous attractions along the way , including the Midway, meander out onto the path; most pedestrians are tourists in no hurry and not paying attention; the path...More

Time was against us walking its entire length but we enjoyed the areas we did see - between the Maritime Museum and the Hilton to the south of the Convention Centre. In fact we walked much of it each evening between our hotel (Marriott Marquis)...More

Just a warning, this walk offers great views and lots of activities, but it's extremely busy. Walkers, bikers, street vendors, weddings, musicians and more. Be prepared to be patient and courteous to get the most out of this trek.

The San Diego bay front is nice, but not as nice as some. The shops are limited and not as accessible as I would have liked or expected. Although the weather is always amazing and otherwise we really enjoy San Diego, Coronado island, etc

We did the walk from Seaport Village to the Cruise Ship Terminal. What a beautiful day to do the walk. Very pretty and lots of things to see. We were there on a Saturday so it was very busy but a must see.

I was so embarrassed for your employee continually yelled at me and said the reason the boat would not go faster was my fault

San Diego bay is an interesting place. It's very busy with the Naval and other marine presence there. There are many restaurants, bars and marinas as well as big fancy hotels. Boat rentals are available as are chartered boats. A ferry is available to Coranado....More

Tough to answer such a general question. It truly depends on what you like. Also the purpose of the visit may predetermine the locale. Generally speaking you cannot go wrong with Glasslamp district hotels. You will be where... More
