A beautiful sight, huge impact of the setting by the sea. Worth going to see, even if the fog rolls in.

It is very humbling to see all of the grave markers and know they are for the amazing individuals who gave their lives for my freedoms. Thank you to all who have served and are currently serving in our military!

Don't drive by without parking your vehicle and walking through this humble area. Very interesting and thought provoking.

I stopped briefly to view from the gates while bike riding to & from Point Loma. It seemed well kept and is a very solemn place.

Only had time to drive by but it is beautiful and honors well those who have been lost. It has quite the feel of Arlington National Cemetery. Very clean and well kept as any tribute to service should be.

This is right before the Cabrillo Monument but so much better because it's free. There are several interesting memories here. It's a quiet place to have a smoke and look at North Island, Downtown and Coranodo all at once. The other side has a great view of the ocean.

This place is absolutely breathtaking. All you can see is tombstones for miles. It's on the way to the Cabrillo National Monument, so you can check it out when you go there. It's on both sides of the road.

We visited on a cloudless day. The contrast of the blue sky, green grass, and white granite tombstones was stunning. National cemeteries always leave one with the feeling of sadness at the many lives which have been lost while preserving our freedom. The sunset views are amazing from here.

I would say that many people have never heard of this military cemetery. If you go to Carrillo National Monument you will drive right through this cemetery. Stop and walk around a bit. It is well cared for and the views are fantastic. Google the history and you will appreciate it more.
