We visited and were not disappointed. The specific area we visited started at New Smyrna Beach and continued South along A1A until the route ends. You pay $10 at the ranger station at the entrance to the Park. There are 5 parking areas along the 7 mile route. The last stop has a great view of the inter coastal bay... More

Unfortunately, the price has risen this year to $10 daily but yearly passes are available. The beaches are gorgeous, great waves, soft sand, and very clean. No trash cans on the beach, so bring a bag with you if taking a lunch, etc. There are trash cans and bathrooms in the parking area. Beautiful area of beach away from the... More

Yes, it costs to drive into the State Park, but not very much. And the benefit you receive is that because of a $5. Car charge, the beach is nearly empty. You get to walk on an unspoiled beach without a lot of normal beach traffic. Looking to simply get away and walk on a pretty secluded beach? CNS is... More

If you have never been to a National Seashore before and you are close by or traveling near Canaveral it is very much worth the stop! Stop in at the National Wildlife Refuge on your way to learn about some of the wildlife in the area and then head on to the seashore. There are very convenient parking areas along... More

We drove out to parking area 7 - about half an hour from Titusville. The cost is $10 per car. In March this was not crowded but I imagine later in the season it will be. The walk from the car to the beach over the dunes carrying a cooler and beach gear is a bit long if you are... More

We read the reviews and decided to spend the remainder of the day in Park staying until close at 8pm. Beaches - pristine, beautiful and natural. More wildlife and shells than any beach we've been to around Cocoa Beach. We spent several hours playing in the surprisingly moderate water and beach combing, surprised at the variety found along the beaches.... More

Thank you to our country's park system that they have kept a stretch of beach in Florida in as pristine a state as one might have seen hundreds of years and more ago. Yes, you have to drive through the heavily built-up areas and condos of New Smyrna and Bethune Beaches--there is only one road in to Canaveral National Seashore.... More

Completely enjoyable. Sun, water was wonderful, people behaved themselves. That was a wow for me. People were very nice no matter which beach you visited.Water was like so wonderful and I became with it. I swam all day and touched that part of God that is so powerful. Here you can enjoy yourself and bring you wife, friends, children, whomever, and... More

We have been to the Canaveral Sea Shore many times, but most recently last nite. You can expect to see a variety of birds and my favorite, the Roseatte Spoonbill. Children were catching hermit crabs by the shore. The foliage is lush and you may see a gator by the culverts in the water. We recommend that you bring bug... More

$10 a day or $40 for the year was a no brainer. The beaches are clean, the water too cold to swim in but fine for wading. although it is a bit of a struggle to get our chairs, picnic basket, and fishing gear up the stairs and over the dunes, it is well worth it. Although we were there... More
