This small park is the best place to watch a rocket launch. Beautiful view of the Indian River Lagoon. It is small park with no amenities, no playground. It does have a bathroom. This park is a commemorative park with lots of astronaut memorabilia.

We came here specifically to see the rocket launch first and foremost. We arrived early (some 3 hours prior to launch) mainly to ensure a parking space. If you want to make a day of it head to playalinda beach (around 20 mins from park)...More

I can see the potential of this park if there is a launch to watch, otherwise there is nothing really of interest. Only a short walk from the "downtown" area.

This is a must see for anyone in Titusville. If you like to be near the water, enjoy some history of NASA or just want some peace and quiet with a fantastic view - this is the place to be. Very shady and many choices...More

We come here to see the cape Canaveral launches every time there is one. Anywhere you sit/stand has a good view

Be sure you stop by to see this park whether you are coming or going to see the rocket launches. Its right next to Burger King. If you are into the whole space thing this park documents the whole space program in granite.

The view from this park was lovely. It's a memorial park with honorary statues and history lessons. It was perfect for us because our 8 month old doesn't need play ground equipment. We also liked the veteran memorial park right next to it. Both were...More

The park is decent, not the cleanest. However it's a great place to catch Pokemon! There are several pokestops in the area and we had a blast catching a lot of new Pokemon.

Lots of homeless people begging for money. You can not relax. Not the best park. There is much nicer parks in Titusville.

Is this park dog friendly???

People do walk through the park with their dogs, and they are expected to pick up after their pets. During launches there tend to be alot of dogs, and they really need to be on leashes.
Is Space View Park a good place to view the Delta 4 launches from Space Pad 37? We will be there for the March 8th launch. It is scheduled for 6:48 p.m. We're planning to drive over from Orlando first thing in the AM, tour the KSC VC, and then drive over to Space View for the launch. Is this even possible given traffic on a launch day? How long do you think it would take to get back to Highway 528 from Space View and best route? Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Space view should be fine. You'll encounter some traffic along US 1 but once you get near downtown it should diminish greatly. After the launch take Garden Street. Head West straight out to 95 and then head S to the 405 Exit... More
Hi, online it says the park is open until 5 pm. I was wondering if there are extended hours on rocket launch days. On March 22 the launch window is from 11:02 to 11:32 pm...will the park be open?

The online article may be referring to the closing of the public bathrooms at night. This park has no fencing or gates and so I don't see how it could be closed nightly, except for the bathrooms. It has a lovely dock going... More
