It was worth our 4 hour tour just to see the petroglyphs at this location. Absolutely amazing that these have survived for generations. Take advantage of all the Canyon Floor has to offer.

Named for the panel of rock paintings which include stunning late-period, full-color depictions antelope, this site alone is worth a half-day tour of Cyn de Chelly.

Do take a tour into the canyon to see these ruins. You will be able to see more details than you can from the overlook.

We viewed the ruins of this building, which was occupied by a Navajo artist in the early 1800s, from the overlook on the Canyon's north rim. They remind you just what a fantastic place this is. It is a relatively short walk from the parking...More

This site can only be visited by taking a tour with a Navajo guide into the canyon. Our guide did an excellent job talking about this building.

Stunning example of Chcoan culture. We saw from inside the canyon and from overlook and I recommend doing both. The walk to the overlook is not easy so wear good shoes.
