First the bad news. We'd booked with Oscar Bia (recommended by 2 Navajo friends). He stood us up! "just forgot". Not happy about that. However Spider Rock folks found us another guide, Terrell, who was fantastic. Went for 6 hrs stopped at many (most?) of the rock art and had lots of details and history pointed out. The river was... Four of us went with Oscar Bia on a three hour jeep tour. It was amazing and most importantly, Oscar explained the canyon sites and shared with us his family history as he grew up in the Canyon. "This was his playground". His knowledge and willingness to share his stories with us made this tour a very memorable one. Be... More

After reading the many very positive reviews of Oscar Bia's tours and a personal recommendation from a friend we contacted Oscar for a tour. He did respond promptly to our request and a time was agreed upon. Oscar meet us at the appointed time, but it was raining heavily and we agreed to postpone the tour to the next day.... More

The canyon is the most amazing place - it should be rated right up there with the Grand Canyon as a 'must-see in A Z' - and the whole world for that matter! Our guide, Ocar Bia, who grew up deep in the canyon, shared his and his grandparents' stories with us as we went along, which made the tour... More

Oscar picked my family up at our hotel for 3 hours tour of Canyon De Chelly. He drove his large Chevy 4x4. We took off into the canyon and had a great time. Oscar is a fine guide who tells us a lot about the canyon, the Navajo people that lives in the Canyon and in Chinle, and a lot... More

Finding this ancient jeep tour within the canyon was one of our favorite ever sight-seeing finds. Oscar Bia, owner, was by far the best man for the job. As a native Dine who actually lived in the canyon, he is the one to give you the best insight on this sacred place. He is calm, friendly, and full of facts... More

A excellent tour, of the Canyon de Chelly in Chinle, Arizona on the Navajo/Dine' Nation and National Park area. Must experience this! Oscar gave me and my husband an exhilarating private tour in the diverse back country canyon roads to our destination, the spectacular Spider Rock. We also wanted all the history information along with the beautiful scenery and we got it...plus more! We saw ruins, glyphs, Navajo hogans, canyon critters, horses, cattle, and looks like we just missed... More

Reggie was a great tour guide and driver. He shared his Navajo and Anasazi history, showed us hundreds of petroglyphs, and made our 5 hours in the canyon very memorable. Ask for Reggie for your guide.
