Duck harbor Beach is very quiet. We didn't stay very long Just enough to see the beach and stretch our legs. The water was at low tide when we got there. we want to go back and see more.

At the end of a long road outside of town you'll find Duck Harbor beach. The parking lot is big, although everything's crowded in the summer in Wellfleet. The beach is long and flat, and there's plenty of room to spread out. It is rocky...More

Anyone who is fortunate enough to find this breathtaking panorama of the beach and inlet is most fortunate. At high tide the boats can come and go....at low tide the flats seem to go on forever, where oysters are harvested by the local residents and...More

Beautiful, quiet location on the bay side of north Wellfleet to watch the sunset. Parking is decent (no non-residents allowed during the day), but recommended arrival is an hour before sunset. Lovely views of Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown and Race Point. Take an hour or...More

Good views of sunset. We came here after 5 PM when you are not required to have a town beach sticker. Parking lot is gravel and a little small. Unfortunately, you need a sticker to park at the beach between 8AM and 5PM and out...More

It can be hard to find Duck Harbor but keep trying. Just make sure to be ahead of the time posted for sunset and maybe bring a beach chair. It is always the best spot to end a summer day!

The best thing about Duck Harbor is the view. Looking West, you can see the Pilgrim Tower on Provincetown. The beach is a bit rocky but nice, and not over-populated.

This beach is known for great sunsets and a lot of seals to watch. Just remember to bring your bug spray. Dogs are also welcome.

This is not a beach where you will want to spend hours lounging in the sun or bathing in the water. There are rocks that make entry into the water painful without water shoes. However, Duck Harbor Beach is a great place to watch a...More

I also have bad knees. I think that this beach is far easier to get to than others in Wellfleet. You do have to walk up and down a small dune but it is nothing like the one in front of The Beachcomber at Cahoon Hollow.
