It's a great location in NYC and a great place to ice skate. I skated here many years ago and ate at the adjacent restaurant. Great tourist area near many attractions.

After visiting the Empire State Building, we found the Rockefeller centre a disappointment. There was nothing awesome about the building, or staff. Just a lift up and down and a view. Nothing special at all

Allow extra time, the crowds don't permit walking through here quickly. At Christmas, New York's Tree is lit and everyone must see it, along with special shopping and stepping out to the many holiday displays and lights at department stores on 5th Avenue.

Had never been here before and walked past a few times. The ice rink was still in use but at $20 per skate hire, it’s expensive. Some overpriced shops in the local area. Nice to come once - wouldn’t return after.
