After enjoying a lively walk from Manhattan across the Brooklyn Bridge, I then proceeded to find the base of the Manhattan Bridge. It gives a wonderful view of both bridges and of Manhattan.

Best way to get views of the Brooklyn bridge! Much quieter way to walk across the river and I think the views are better than Brooklyn bridge

Passing under the bridge, without realising that this bridge was built in the early 1900. Now the bridge is an important infrastructure that connect Brooklyn to Manhattan. With roadways, train tracks and pedestrian and bicycles tracks toward Manhattan.

Such a beautiful bridge. I love to see the subway trains running over it. There is always a lot of traffic coming and going every time I've observed it.

Just one of those things you have to take a gander at. Even if it's just while you're walking by! Beautiful!

Got a great view of the bridge when we walked over the Brooklyn Bridge. I’m sure we went under it the last time we were here on a boat trip. Cool to see.

If you like bridges, check this one out...beautiful and not crazy big, connecting lower Manhattan and Brooklyn, with pedestrian walkways and great views of the city.

Manhattan Bridge is a little similar in appearance to the neighbouring Brooklyn Bridge, but we only crossed it on subway trains (B D N Q), which gave us a wonderful view of the Manhattan skyline each time.

Great photo opportunity from near or far. We did not even realize it was there until we went to visit the Brooklyn Bridge and looked it up - great history and information available online. Really enjoyed learning about it and it's architecture.
