Federal Hall is a must see! It is the place where George Washington became inaugurated as the first President of the United States. It is a stunning hall and almost acts as a museum. I highly recommend!

First time in this part of NYC but we are history buffs and loved visiting. We walk d from 9/11 Memorial and Oculus to make sure we could visit. No charge but there is scaffolding to fix the roof.

Went when it reopened to the public after COVID. We were first visitors. Some parts still closed. It’s free so a nice place to tour.

I once took a class called AP US Government and Politics and I happened to enjoy it!! I then got a 1 on the AP which was one of the worst scores I have every gotten!! I made a joke a while ago that I am not a very political guy due to the massive failure on my exam but I still wanted to vote!! I happen to think Abraham Lincoln is my favorite president and he reminds me of Eminem!! I went here to see the white haired first president of the thirteen colonies recently freed from the nation of Great Britain!! That is a history study guide but it was an exhibit of George Washington!! I thought it was very interesting but it took so much money to get in!! It was a grand total of $0.00!! It was very good for being free and had a lot of info!!

The indoor space seemed to be fully reopened but the outside still had scaffolding when I visited. The rotunda is beautiful but the museum itself is much smaller than expected and signage not as well done as other NPS sites. Overall, a very clean and historically significant location.

Small National Park Service site that houses the spot where George Washington was inaugurated as the first president of the United States. Lots of internal and external construction, but you can still go inside and take a look around.

This is certainly a nice building to visit, but there's not a whole lot to see right now. The main museum area is under construction, so there are only a few posters about the history of the site. I was only there about 10 minutes.

Federal Hall is listed as “temporarily closed” on some searches, but it’s open…sort of. This building on the site of George Washington’s inauguration is still surrounded by scaffolding. The Hall itself - which is rather small - is open, but the one room Museum is closed, and the whole building has that dirty, dusty construction feel to it. There was some sort of art/experience tied to the Bill of Rights, too, but there’s really little to see if explanation of its significance. Wait until the construction is complete and it can really be visited before going.
