Killing time before meeting at NYU and saw this most unusual shop on Broadway-What a neat collection of slightly (and some very) creepy stuff! Also, some very interesting merchandise-gems, minerals, skeletons, butterfly wings, raccoon penis bones, eyeballs, globes, dinosaur and fish fossils...ranging in price from...More

This is a quirky store selling taxidermy, crystals, skeletons, and other curios at every price point from just a few dollars to $1000s! Well worth a visit to pick up an unusual gift.

Oh my! I love this kind of store, filled with skulls, bones, eye art, mounted insects & taxidermy. It's not for everyone but it's definitely worth a look-see if you're in the neighborhood. I found the staff at the front desk to be utterly charming...More

Some amazing things for sale here, ranging from fascinating, unusual, beautiful, off-putting, and even a bit disturbing. Many of the items were surprising that you could even buy them. There were preserved exotic insects, gems and minerals, skeletons, stuffed animals under glass, just crazy things....More

What an interesting shop. Sells minerals, shells, skeletons, meteorites... these dont come cheap but at least window shopping is free. Do drop in and take a look, its hard to find a more interesting shop elsewhere. Expect to spend 15 to 30 mins.

Not great. Kind of bland. The staff leave you alone. The taxidermy was kind of soulless and on the expensive side; nearly everything is behind glass, or behind a showcase, so you can't handle anything you may be interested in buying.

This is the most unique store that we have ever been in. My kids (ages 8 and 10) love coming here. Every time we are in NY, we go to the Evolution Store. They have items that no other store carries. My 8 year old...More

This has always been my favorite store in New York. It feels so weird with the taxidermy, bones, and other things, but it's just the right type of weird. It is overpriced, so I mostly just like to window shop, but it's still good for...More

I first became familiar with this type of shop after visiting Paxton Gate in SF. Very cool spot for taxidermy and some other oddities. Even if you aren't buying anything it's cool to come in and look. Come see a stuffed two headed calf...NO CHARGE!...More
