This is a great place to go to spend a couple of hours. So much history and so much to see. Easy to get to on the midtown bus, and not a bad walk back through Hell's Kitchen.

To visit this museum is an amazing experience because it’s interactive and educational. You can walk around the Intrepid, the Growler submarine and you can see the Enterprise and the British Airways Concorde. On the deck we saw the aircraft collection. We enjoyed very much!

Some very interesting stuff, including a submarine, with a member of staff there, that told us many interesting facts about subs, from his days onboard, in the navy. Could have chatted to him all day

Absolutely! I would recommend the Intrepid for anyone from 6 years of age or older. They even have sleepovers for Boy Scout groups.
