An F-14, a submarine, an A4, a Harrier Junk Jet and a space shuttle all contained within the body of a real aircraft carrier that saw battle in the Vietnam war. Great way to get a glimpse of history and to see what life was...More

If you are an aeroplane/ship/history enthusiast then this is definitely an interesting place to visit. Huge aircraft hangar and submarine. We also saw BA’s retired Concorde! Recommended.

You get to see the insides of a warship. Different floors of the ship, the control room etc are very interesting to see. The best part is the airplanes and the space shuttle. Checking out a submarine from inside was also great.

So much to learn in here and a lot of interesting artifacts. We visited on a weekday so it’s not too crowded.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Intrepid. They have a great collection of airplanes to see on the flight deck. It was also interesting to see the ship itself. The bonus is the Shuttle Enterprise. You can get amazingly close to this shuttle "prototype"....More

There are lifts so you don’t have to use the stairs. But the deck can get slippery. In the hanger deck there are things younger children can do.
