Opening Night of Hello Dolly!

The Schubert Theatre is beautiful and timeless! (Although woefully short on ladies restrooms.) Wish I could have attended other Broadway shows too!

But I will go back! The area is great and I look forward to visiting when I have more time and can see a play.

I can't imagine going to NYC and not seeing a broadway show. The talent is superior, the costumes extraordinary, the total experience is fabulous!

Walked through Broadway. Didn't stop to watch any shows though so cannot comment on what was playing.

We have seen many shows- Hamilton, Great Comet, Wicked, Dear Evan Hansen, Significant Others, Amelie, and MANY more. Build time in to walk around and absorb the bright lights of Times Square. So much to see, so much to do.

A fun night in NY! Give yourself time especially on weekend to get there especially if taking an Uber. We got there a few minutes early and ordered a few themed cocktails. So much fun!

Saw a Bronx Tale with my son. After seeing so many school plays, we were just blown away. It was excellent. The acting, singing, the stage. Everything was good.

If you don't mind choosing a seat, go to the ticket office right behind the stairs of times square where you can get half price tickets for the very same days. They are late tickets that haven't been sold all the time before. it is a good saving and really worth a visit.

You can take a walk midday or midnight and will enjoy it very much though it is a shame that there are too many people in costumes encouraging you to take a picture with them, after a while it becomes annoying.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
