You walk along the street and you are in the heart of Manhattan, you see a lot of nice stores and interesting proposals on any side you can imagine.

Quite a different part of town from typical New York, streets are small and narrow but not as crazy, good selection of restaurants, independent shops and a nice place to walk around for a few hours with always something to do

Too many of the stores are chains, but if you look, you can find some great local shops and great food. Wander off the main strip and look at all the beautiful architecture.

You can get the subway from Penn Station 34th st and get off at Houston St. From there it's not far to walk to West Broadway
