We walked through the campus to have a look at the ivy league standard of colleges. The buildings and gardens are lovely for the middle of the city and knowing some of the history of the university makes it even more interesting.

A University that stands proud in a concrete jungle. Some beautiful buildings to see and a great deal of history can be learnt if you take the tour.

We enjoyed our campus tour of Columbia University. I entered expecting a very small campus and yes, it was small but absolutely stunning . The energy that we felt with all from the students hanging out by the steps of the library was so inviting....More

I’ve lived in NY all my life, and this is the first time I’ve spent more than 5 minutes on Columbia’s campus. I knew it was relatively small, but I was amazed at what I saw today. The campus is stunning. It’s easily one of...More

The campus is absolutely beautiful. Everything is close by. By far the most exciting, energetic Ivy. More opportunities here than at any other school in the world. Puts all other schools to shame. More academic and rigorous than Harvard or Stanford, and much less pretentious.

this is the place to go to college. I wouldn't visit it just to visit it... but if you have kids that need inspired this is the place to go.

I found this campus ok at best... It wasn't in the same league in terms of making someone feel welcome like Stanford but it also wasn't spewing with opinionated political views like Harvard. It certainly is in a nice location and has a rich history...More

Even though you don't have time, try to cross from Broadway to Amsterdam via the campus. You will definitely embrace the history of one of the best prestigious academic places of all times, but also get to see powerful old buildings all around you.
