Store with everything

They have some very useful, some very unusual and some some very silly things for sale. I love to get their catalog and the store itself is really a gas on 57th street. You can... read more

I made a huge mistake in buying an electric blanket from H-S on-line w/o thoroughly researching it on-line. I knew that H-S' price seemed high but felt that their lifetime warranty was worth it. H-S charged $179.95 for the blanket with $22.95 as shipping cost. Total $202.90. I discovered that Amazon charges $98.55 with free shipping. What is worse, the... More

Best place to find unusual things or perfect for a gift. All price range. From affordable to expensive. But even if you don't buy anything it's a great shop to visit and discover so many things that I personally didn't know that existed .

My travel guide recommended it and said it was an amazing place to discover new and curious objects. Well... what a disappointment! I was looking for nice gadgets for my kids and I found just nothing. Avoid loosing your time in that shop.

They have some very useful, some very unusual and some some very silly things for sale. I love to get their catalog and the store itself is really a gas on 57th street. You can wander around and try all of these wacky items out and eventually will buy something that you do not need but it is a lot... More

Nice store to visit and find out all types of gadgets for home, office, leisure, sports, etc. I discover a whale submarine in this store!!! It is hilarious to spend some time there.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
