You just can't beat the Blue Note as a venue for seeing jazz. The intimacy of the place, and the fact that you can be ten feet from the talent, make this my favorite. We saw Earl Klugh. He's amazing. Surrounded by Al Turner on...More

We went last night to see Earl Klugh and were not disappointed! People friendly, service was good, food was OK, but we weren't there for the food, but for the jazz and it was great. Just know this, its tight quarters, you have more space...More

Blue Note jazz club is as good as its reputation. The show was magnificent, the sound, the ambience, everything. The food is top quality too so absolutely no regrets. I do feel that for prepaid table sittings they should allow to pick the table of...More

Had dinner and a show at Blue Note in Greenwich Village. Dinner was good. The show was great. Of all the things we did in NY (3 Broadway shows, Yankees game, SoL, 9/11, Museums, etc.) we all had this night in our top three. It...More

I always have good times at the Blue Note Club. I just wish the food was a little better but I really go there for the music. Always great artists featured. Great jazz night again. Thanks

Great place for an evening of music. We shared a fruit and cheese plate with our cocktails, then sat back and enjoyed the show.

The Blue Note has always had poor service, cramped seating, expensive drinks and mediocre food, but in the past we put up with it because they get some of the best jazz acts around. After our last visit that has changed. Even though there are...More

Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

Either works depending on your plans. Only suggestion is to avoid last night of his run. We did it and seemed to enjoy his invited friends more then providing a good show. Still worth the price.

Winter months, cozy and warm. I wore a sweater and a pair of jeans and warm, comfy boots, a puffer bomber coat. In the Summer I would do nice sundress and comfy sandals.

You cannot get a good seat of your choice if you attend a show like Chris Botti without having table tickets and getting in line an hour before they open (6PM for an 8PM show, meaning if you are in line by 5PM you'll likely... More
