I had Tickets for Erik Griffin, It turns out the show had been canceled. Caroline's had just forgot to tell everyone!. Many of us were left standing outside waiting, freezing.. We called, nothing about the cancelation on the answering machine, Checked out the website, nothing there either. Not even a note on the door... I had been to another show... More

We saw 4-5 comedians. Easy to book reservation on the phone. We had great seats even though we booked late. Of course drinks are ridiculously priced in very small glasses. They say two drink minimum but I only ordered one. They offer food too but we had just eaten. The comics were very funny. We enjoyed many great laughs there... More

We were here specifically to see Jeff Ross. We paid extra for VIP seating and thought it was worth it to be up close. If you're going to get food, stick with the appetizers and go out to dinner afterwards. It's a legendary NYC comedy club and it's been 20 years since I've seen a show here. A fun night... More

Save yourself the pain and go to The Stand. Came here because I am a huge fan of standup comedy and this is a 'famous' venue. The night me and my date came was a new artist series. We had attended one of my favorite clubs, The Stand, the night prior for a FREE show and laughed a lot more.... More

Nice venue for comedy. Be aware that there is a 2 drink minimum charge if you are seeing comedy on top of the tickets you have to purchase. The drinks must be purchased in the show area not before. Food and drinks are a little pricey so be prepared for the bill.

You are treated like cattle in this dumpy basement venue, constantly reminded of 2 drink minimum, then wait 40 mins to get your drink. The first comedian Todd Berry was the best of the night. The next two, a husband and wife team were truly awful, although she (Natasha Leggero) was better than him (Moshe Kasner). Moshe believes that using... More

We had a blast. Great show. Can't wait to go back. This is a must do if you want to laugh. Different types of dress attire.

We are not from the US but generally find US humour great fun. The only similarity with US humour and this was it featured a President Obama and Donald Trump lookalike. Overall it was awful and in places embarrassing. The Obama guy was quite good but same joke over and over, the Trump guy was good but who knew he... More

First: We saw Gary Owens and loved his act. It was smart, slick comedy. He knows how to tell a story and be ever so slightly bawdy without making it "ick". Well done. Second: Caroline's is a great idea if you don't want to spend hundreds on a Broadway Show. The club is right by Times Square so you're already... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
