What Makes It Special
From its inception, Macy's Herald Square was a store unlike any other. Over the past 150 years, it has become a true New York City icon. Built in 1902, Macy's Herald Square was the first building to have the modern-day escalator, and it has continued to be a trendsetter. Today, "America's Largest Department Store" covers an entire city block with 11 levels of the latest fashions for you and your home. Macy's offers a full-service Visitor Center on the Mezzanine Level, plus restaurants throughout the store and exciting events almost every day.

Visited Maceys last week, bought my wife a Michael Kors bag, had to wait ages while they found one, the staff there were untidy, not a smile amongst 4 of them and one was chewing GUM while serving, not what I expect from this store....More

The jewelry pick up in-store is terrible. The staff stands around and refuses to look for items, even though they are not busy. Since they make no commissions off of these items, they do NOT care. I've never been so disrespected! I tried to get...More

When I visit, I only look at the clearance sections where things are mostly -70% off. Good finds this way! Otherwise the prices are pretty high, especially when it comes to bags and shoes. Good for smart casual and business style dressing. Sadly they don't...More

Never buy online. They have nice clothing but they are a message if you run into any returns etc. I suppose if you are in town (Philadelphia) going into store isn't awful but century 21 near by has better deals
