From its inception, Macy's Herald Square was a store unlike any other. Over the past 150 years, it has become a true New York City icon. Built in 1902, Macy's Herald Square was the first building to have the modern-day escalator, and it has continued to be a trendsetter. Today, "America's Largest Department Store" covers an entire city block with 11 levels of the latest fashions for you and your home. Macy's offers a full-service Visitor Center on the Mezzanine Level, plus restaurants throughout the store and exciting events almost every day.

Iconic store with nice clothes for men and women. It might be a bit difficult to find what you are looking for if you are looking for something specific, but if you have some time you will enjoy the shopping experience!

So disappointed as was so looking forward to doing a huge shop, as I have always done in previous years. Imagine my horror, on going from floor to floor and finding rack upon rack of discounted rubbish. So sad. Couldn't bear to spend an extra...More

This department store has plenty to look at. It reminds me of Selfridges in London. Lots of floors. Go to the basement and find the Macy's own brand goods.

As I couldn't find what I wanted in jeans elsewhere in the city, I was told by a local to give Macy's a try and I wasn't disappointed. Having arrived earlier than the shop opens we browsed the local area, then at 9:30 we went...More

If you live anywhere where there is a Macy's you have seen it already. Lots of people, and the same stuff you can get in any other department store. Crowded and hot!
