Must see

You've seen it everywhere, adverts, movies, posters but so good in real life, so much to take in and so many vantage points throughout NYC to look from

Absolutely stunning and a must see when visiting Newyork. The perfect pic is taken from the staten island ferry which is a free ferry and runs 24 hours a day

When you think of the iconic skyline, thoughts automatically turn to the view from Brooklyn, or the view from the Staten Island Ferry, or perhaps the view from Roosevelt Island. However, the reality is that at many road junction a view to left or right will produce stunning sights that never fail to impress.

Great view from the ferry going over to Liberty Island on a clear day and back to Battery Park. Easy and safe

The Manhattan skyline, as seen from a boat or from Ellis or Liberty Island, is a work of art that can't be missed!

Great view coming in from the Jersey via the Lincoln Tunnel. Amazing with the Freedom Tower in the view.

The Manhattan skyline is breathtaking and the best way to see it is at night. For the adults get yourself up to the rainbow room (Bar 65 ) in the Rockefeller centre and sip a cocktail whilst you take in the beauty of this city. Alternatively there are night tours from all the bus company's but wrap up well if... More

We went by underground (subway) to Brooklyn and there we find a wonderful view of Manhattan skyline. From this place you can see Brooklyn's bridge, Manhattan's bridge an G. Washinngton's bridge.

The Manhattan skyline is just beautiful on a clear day, there's nothing like looking at tall buildings and appreciating the sheer size of the city, especially if you're looking from an observatory

Ithink the best way to see it is from the Staten Island ferry. The tours on the Hudson are much more expensive. Great view of a great city!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
