The night view of Manhattan can be seen from Long Island, Gantry Plaza State Park over at Queens. You can see the lighted Empire State Building and Chrysler Building. Wonderful view! The lighted up Queensboro Bridge is beautiful!

All that it's made out to be. Tall n inspiring, each building vying with each other for the sky! View from the ferries definitely gives you an overall idea.

Several locations to view the skyline: Empire State Building, Top Of The Rock, Circle Line Sightseeing Tours...but the most spectacular view is from the top of the OWO!

Fascinating. We walked the highline in the sun, and took a walking tour which took in part of the Highline. A wonderful use of a train line and well attended to. Another must do attraction. Iain and Sharon Chalmers

We saw the Manhattan skyline while we were in Dumbo, Brooklyn. It really has the best view of the skyline. Looking at all of the buildings from the outside rather than walking amongst them gives you a whole new take on the city. Sit on...More

Got a glimpse of the skyline from DUMBO and it was a beautiful sight. Viewed it with the Brooklyn bridge on the foreground too.
