My teenage son and I were wandering around Central Park on a lovely sunny Sunday morning and decided to pop into the zoo. It was very well maintained and compared to some zoos I’ve been to it was “bite size” and easy to get round...More

The Central Park Zoo is relatively small. There has an interesting collection of small tropical animal (birds, monkeys, etc.). Also there is beautiful white tiger, but in my opinion The main attractions are the Grizzly bear and the penguins (as in the Madagascar movie). It...More

Central Park Zoo is small, not too expensive, and you can see everything in less than 2 hours. We saw the main zoo, and not the children's area nor the movie - those cost extra. Since we were all adults we only wanted to see...More

We were really disappointed by this zoo. We read that it was small but we didn't think it would be THAT small. If you are in central park than yeah, it's a great place to visit but it's not worth making A special trip for.

This zoo was the main reason my youngest wanted to visit New York and he wasn't disappointed. Quite a few interesting animals in a smallish zoo. My 10 year old loved it

You could spend a whole day there. I disagree with some of the others here, you need more than two hours at Central Park. I'd say minimum 4 hours.
