Took the opportunity to introduce my 17 and 15 to the Phantom... As expected, they loved it! Never get tired of the beautiful music!

Beats any show you've seen on TV or even the movie. It's like a movie but live. Amazing música, sets and environment. A must do in a visit to the Big Apple!

I've seen this wonderful, classic musical theater piece several times. When my daughters were younger they wanted to see the play many times. Luckily, they were able to listen to the CD Music Track over and over. The story is a tale of love, jealousy and the loss of innocence. It is an event that the entire family will enjoy.

Phantom of the Opera is a classic, and the longest running play on Broadway. It was fantastic. Well worth paying for seats close to stage -- we were orchestra section left, approximately 6 rows from stage and 7 seats from aisle. While center is best, we took off center in order to be close -- makes a huge difference to... More

My daughters both have seen this show numerous times I myself never went, I was never really interested in seeing it, they always raved and raved about it and I was like no I'm not a lover of opera etc. Well let me tell you I relented and went with them when we were in NYC this past weekend now... The Phantom of the Opera is amazing! The first act is very touching! The stage effects, the voices, the songs are impressive and increadibly beautiful. Majestic Theatre was around the corner from our hotel (Row). We got the tickets (USD 45) in the morning of the presentation and it was very easy: at 10 a.m, there was no line at... More

I have been going to musicals, been involved with them, etc. for over 40 years. So when I finally got a chance to see Phantom in NYC, I jumped at the chance. It was the most amazing show I have ever seen. The sets, the costumes, the talent - oh my word! Let's just say, if you watch this entire... More

I've loved the music since I was young and had seen the traveling show when I was in my early teens, but I'd always wanted to see the show on Broadway. Actually being able to do so was absolutely fantastic! The theatre's acoustics were great: we sat in the mid-mezzanine and were able to hear and see everything well. The... More

i watched this when they were on tour to california, but it was very different to experience. the majestic theater's chandelier was greater in size, and the theatre itself worked well to preserve sound/music of the show.

One goal has been to see a Broadway show, and to have it be the 'Phantom of the Opera' was just perfect. Being on a budget, I opted for the least expensive seat which got me the second row from the top in the third and last mezzanine, but I had a lot of company, most of whom moved down... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
