This is our third visit to the Institute of Culinary Education in New York and all three have been memorable and above everything else just plain fun. If you enjoy food and drink and are the least bit interested in learning techniques from real professionals, this is the place for you. My wife and I love to entertain and have... More

We had a great team building experience at ICE and thoroughly enjoyed producing then eating what we had cooked. The evening was very informal but we had a tour of the facility, a glass of wine then we got our hands dirty so to speak and made one of three courses we later consumed. Our tutors were experienced chefs in... More

Just finished my 4th class at ICE, the first at their new location. If you are a fan of cooking shows, then this is your place. An expert chief leads you thru prep and execution of a gormet meal. The work stations are fully equipped and the best part is somebody else does the dishes. I feature myself as a... More

Excellent class - learned alot. Very cool facility! Felt like a pro! Would definitely return for another class. If you are trying to improve your skills, this is the place! Also a really fun thing to do with a group of friends or treat a friend as a birthday gift. It's an evening you will remember. Inspirational!

Excellent experience in ICE's new location. Four hours of hands-on learning in modern professional kitchen with other enthusiastic strangers, bonding over chopping boards, steaming pots, and a well-seasoned, well-deserved meal. Instructor and staff shared their culinary expertise, their passion for delicious foods, and their sense of humor. Check the website and pick your favorite recreational cooking adventure. Top chefs, look... More

My second class, but first in a stunning location at the World Trade Center. Few technical glitches as they just moved, but classes are great. Really interactive, I have been easy to incorporate into my home routine almost all of the recipes. My friend and I took grilling, food was delicious, company very pleasant and overall very fun and useful... More

ICE completely incapable of reliability or credibility to deliver on their business contracts for venues....huge predation with proceedin...at least in near term....they will have lots to straighten out including hiring a new staff as employees are leaving or plan to leave because their personal credibility has to be hugely exposed...even in NYC bad reputations travel to the top 100 dining... I thought I was signing up for a fun and entertaining evening where I learned more about cooking South American food, a cuisine that I don't normally cook at home. However, from the beginning, I felt more like I had signed up for a part-time job in a restaurant. The instructor, Chef Loren, took the first hour to make changes... More

I booked the cookie class as I thought it would be something a little different to do as part of our NY trip. There was quite a selection of cookies and we were to be paired up in groups of two, but as it worked out, there were three of us in the group, we therefore made a lot more... More
