Perfect hideaway in the middle of the city! It's peaceful, quiet, well kept, and charming. There's lots of benches that blend with the natural scenery, beautiful views and lots of natural inclines and stone steps.

Beautiful part of Central Park. The garden is great with nice benches to enjoy the flowers - all of them mentioned on Shakespeare's work.

The entire park is gorgeous, but Shakespeare Garden is my favorite spot. Its quiet, never crowded and the garden is planted with flowers found in a traditional English Garden. There are stone footpaths that meander through the tiered garden with wooden benches along the way,...More

I didn't realize that when you visited that they have actors wandering around acting out Shakespeare's plays. Very fun cheap afternoon:)

We happened upon this delightful spot in Central Park on a beautiful spring day. The tulips and other spring flowers were out in full bloom. The winding paths draw you in and up, the framed views of the castle, the turtle ponds, and the occasional...More
