I like the small things. The bartender calls you "sweetheart!" And the Itunes-jukebox is a big +. Definitely a place to go for a Brooklyn or a Sammy before/after dinner. Free wifi too ( I'm a tourist..Sweden) see you guys there!
Used to be a great bar but it lost all it's flavor the same old faces and not so pretty at that also.. all the good bartenders are all gone they've become all generic types now..Boring!!!

There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to
wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
