This bar is worth visiting when in the area. Friendly staff that are welcoming and helped us out with directions, local knowledge and a few tales from Ireland. It's a bar, nothing fancy nothing grand. It's the way a bar should be.

Read the history- interesting back story. Cool little Irish pub on the upper west. Look for the Harp!

My gal liked the fact that this place was an Old School New York bar (e.g. not dressed up for a younger crowd), but I found it to feel sketchy. Gruff bartender obviously knew that we were out-of-town people and made zero effort to welcome us. Had 1 over-priced drink and never went back.

Spent a few years in and out of the city and this bar is oddly what I miss most. Long live the Dublin House and I hope to make it back someday.

Has some nice beers and the place is well suited to a quick pint or two. Nothing too amazing. The barman seemed a bit grumpy but that didn't bother me too much.

Close to our hotel we walked in to get a beer. Small cozy Irish pub with cold beer and good happy hour. Enjoyed it, will be back

The only positives are the cool neon sign and the location. Negatives: Rude, indifferent bartender. Filthy men's room. Blaring TV's. Short-shot drinks at higher than average NYC dive bar prices. $7 draft beer. Hundreds of better places with 20 blocks.
