You can literally sit in front of the stage. There is a two drink minimum but the tickets are fairly priced. The food is amazing. Best lobster sliders I have ever had and I live onLong Island so I have had many! The beet salad was wonderful and enough to split with two people. The space itself is very intimate.... More

Joe's Pub is a venue within the Public Theater on Lafayette very conveniently located to the Astor Place subway station. The theater also contains a highend restaurant, The Library, and several theaters. Joe's Pub is relaxed and cozy. There is a variety of seating possibilities. We reserved a table for two and had dinner before the show. Most seats have... More

I few in to NYC late on a Friday evening, and had my lyft driver tear through the streets of Manhattan to get me to the Joe's Pub at the Public Theater. I had purchased tickets to see the one and only, Martha Graham Cracker, and though my driver did his darnedest I was still a solid 30 minutes late... More

Had an amazing night at the Megan Hilty concert on 4th December. Never been to anything like this before. Megan's show was amazing. The setting was wonderful, staff great, food huge and yummy. I had the burger which was lovely and it came with never ending fries. I'm known for having a huge appetite and managing to pack away a... More

Dedicated to Joseph Papp, the founder of the Public Theatre in which the Pub and several other stages are situated, Joe's Pub is a warm and intimate club to see performances of all kinds. (We visited it twice in one week.) There is ordinarily a minimum charge for food/drink over the ticket price, but I am happy to report that... More

Went to a work awards show at Joes pub honoring Javier Munoz from Hamilton. The venue is intimate and just beautiful. Great acoustics and the food was very good.

Having just returned to NYC we went to take-in John Epperson's show. It's a perfect venue for music and cabaret. Space is v v chic. Lots of seating options (tables may be shared) and the acoustics are excellent. Menu is interesting. Food is well-prepared and efficiently served. Orders are taken before the show and one can dine during the performance.... More

Attended a benefit concert ar the Pub for the first time. I'm very familiar with the Public Theater in the same building but never in Joe's Pub before....we were blown away! State of the art performance stage, sound and lighting in a causal cabaret setting. There was a two drink minimum for the event but the drinks were very good... More

Very decent selection of (small portion) dishes served in a cabaret style theatre. I suppose you might find better food in Manhattan, but it's really all about the venue. Having a well loved singer croon away only a few yards from our copper topped tables made everything taste better. Actually the mussels were quite fresh and so were the tiny... More
