My wife loves classical music and I am a fan as well. However, visiting the Philharmonic has been an issue due to timing. We are from out of state and when we come up for a few days it can be hard to schedule meals and a concert. We're not kids so we don't like to eat after a show.... More

Incredible performance! We had a beautiful evening out watching the New York Philharmonic. The music was emotional and the musicians were flawless. I would recommend this to anyone, even if you're not an expert in classical music!

Finally a music performance in New York City that gets multiple curtain calls! What a joy to attend a sold-out concert listening to Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 with a vivacious soloist and enthusiastic audience. Mahler's 1st Symphony followed, even more exciting and the audience practically jumped up to give a standing ovation. After several experiences at the Metropolitan Opera... More

While the acoustics are not so wonderful in some areas, the music is excellent. In the from rows, it can be quite loud while in the upper tiers the sound seems attenuated.

Attended an evening concert featuring Mahler and a new composition commissioned by the New York Philharmonic. The experience was outstanding. I expected the music to be world class, which it was. But I also enjoyed the enthusiasm of the conductor, who delivered engaging remarks at the top of the performance to talk about the evening's new piece. The theater itself... More

It should be on everyone' s Bucket List...the Opera. If you can't afford the high priced tickets go for the $30. one available in the nose bleed section, but a wonderful way to see, hear and understand what opera is all about.

Not a regular to the Philharmonic I have been to 2 shows in the past year. I find myself keeping an eye on there calendar for upcoming shows. NYC at it's finest. World class music.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the orchestra. The music was beautiful and the David Geffen center had great acoustics. After hearing this orchestra I can see why they are considered one of the top 20 orchestras in the world.

Leonard Bernstein's beloved West Side Story score — from "America" and "Tonight" to "Somewhere" and "Maria" — as the complete, re-mastered, Oscar-winning film is projected in hi-def, with original vocals and dialogue intact. Experience this iconic New York City love story as never before. Directed by Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins; featuring Robbins's choreography, Ernest Lehman's screenplay, Arthur Laurents's book,...
