A great family lunch in a wonderful venue. Fixed priced menu offered a good selection which left no one disappointed. The only downside was the service. Our waiter was fantastic when we could get his attention. On this day the Loeb needed some additional staff.

Booked the Boathouse for New Years Eve a few months ago and it definitely did not disappoint! The venue was beautiful with a perfect view of the Central Park fireworks. Drinks weren't much more expensive than we paid anywhere else in New York and the food was delicious! Wasn't cheap but as to be expected on New Years in a... More

We went here for brunch the day after New Years and our expectations were very high since it is a very popular restaurant. And the food was very good and fresh. However our server smelt strongly of alcohol and did not remember any of the orders without us having to repeat it serval times! And honestly most waiters spoke poor... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant during our trip into Central Park on my 21st birthday. As we were planning to have a big dinner we wanted a light lunch to keep us going. With a perfect setting right by the lake, this place looks adorable. With an old worldly feel its like going back in time. A pianist was playing... More

Loved this venue. Beautiful decor and scenery! Sat at window seat and watched the boaters on the park. Service fabulous!

Great place to have lunch .... you have to wait for a table, but the staff were unbelievably friendly..... beautiful spot with people either fishing or boating. Food was good but not brilliant. Atmosphere was wonderful definitely worth a visit on a lovely day.

The Loeb Boathouse is where you can rent one of the many row boats and explore The Lake with a special someone. The boathouse also have a cafe that you can visit to enjoy the calming waters of the Lake while enjoying a meal. However, it gets pretty crowded during weekends or festive occasions.

It is a great place to stop for eating while in the Cental Park, as it is right in the middle of the park. They have good options of sandwiches and salads for eating at the external area. Prices are fair.

Waited 20 minutes in a queue. They advertised a choice of about 6 sandwiches, I ordered the tuna on rye sandwich, a Brie and ham sandwich, 2 beers and a portion of fries. I got ham on rye bread sandwich, tuna on normal cold toast. Chips were luke warm. Weirdest thing is there are loads of tables, but only 1/3rd... More
