It was quite crowded at 7pm on a Thursday and we had to wait at the bar for a table. But staff were good and helpful and the oysters and Flatbread were delicious. A very eclectic crowd.

This legendary establishment, is the kind of place any traveler wishes to discover, and stay!! I have been coming here for years, and, the aptly named bar, as the fabulous Maxfield Parrish mural adorns, is always a quality experience, on all levels!

This is one of the classic nyc places to have a drink. They make the best bloody Mary's and have an experienced staff. The vibe is gr at in there and you can feel the history of the ages. A must go place for visitors

Beautiful bar. You must get a Bloody Mary when you visit. This is their birthplace and I promise you won't be disappointed. Try to get a seat in the corner, cozy and romantic.

Supposedly the bloody originated at this bar and are supposed to be fabulous. Well, not my experience. The bloody Mary was already mixed, the bartender slapped a lemon on it and that was it. It was terrible, hot with Tabasco sauce, not spicy. No celery,...More

Went to see the Maxfield Parrish mural that is the backdrop of this iconic bar. We always stop in when in nyc. We decided to have speciality cocktails. They were premixed in jugs in a frig. Mine was suppose to be made with soda. Obviously...More

KCB is not a particularly large room. It has its share of dark and cozy corners for two, but I would not necessarily call it intimate. I've only visited during busy times. And although I would not call it loud, the bar... More
