The store is conveniently located just outside the subway station. They carry a wide variety of wines and alcohol in general. They also have a good selection of miniature bottles for people who are collecting them. Prices are reasonable.

While wine tasting in Napa, a couple we met recommended coming here on our yearly trip to New York. What a huge disappointment. There were at least 6 people working. Despite a nearly empty store, not a single employee was friendly enough to help us and I was completely taken aback by the total and complete rudeness of the 1... More

This is my favorite wine store in New York. I go to many of the tastings, which has introduced me to many new favorite wines and regions of the world. They also have two wine tasting centers. Every time you purchase wine, you earn points that can be used to taste other wines. They deliver and are dependable. They have... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
