Broadway in lower manhattan is a nice place to walk and see the shops. Some seedy areas, but hey it is NYC. Still worth a walk and often faster than taxis

Great restaurants, water views, shopping, One World Trade and more. Often left out by tourists, this is where real New Yorkers live and play. Not so crowded and a joy to visit.

Took the Hop on Hop of bus to Lower Manhattan, visited the 9/11 memorial, Wall Street, New York Stock Exchange and the Charging Bull statue. Can be very busy with tourists.
