I love Napoleons (mille-feuille) and was thinking I would only be able to get a good one by going back to Paris. But this is NYC, I should be able to find one, right? Absolutely! At Rocco's! We stopped here after lunch on the advice friends and we were not disappointed. The mille-feuille was perfect. Light, crisp, creamy - everything... More

First visit during our trip to the city and I was impressed with their service and cleanliness! I cannot say the same for the variety of desserts that we purchased, but they were still better then most of the same I buy back home. Worth the trip.

Definitely worth a visit. Mid sized air conditioned Greenwich Village institution with free wifi, excellent Cannoli, great coffee, outstanding NY cheesecake and root beer floats. Really cool place with the most sumptuous array of deserts.

Really delicious cappuccino and fantastic array of desserts. My husband had the dark chocolate raspberry cake which was wonderfully dark chocolate. I had chocolate caramel cream cake, also wonderful but not last dark chocolate. I suggest making this a destination for an afternoon delight. Don't miss it!

Stopped here for dessert on a Saturday night. I got a pistachio cannoli. It was so tasty! I would have eaten ten of them if I could have. YUM!

If you want any kind of pastry, this is the place to go! They have a large display case that makes you drool! We got the Cannoli's which were out of this world. I would go there again if in the area

My bf took me here after having dinner and it was delicious. It was the perfect place to go to just sit and talk and recover our earlier activities. The service was decently quick and the desserts were scrumptious. I had the strawberry shortcake with the caramel white hot chocolate and it definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. The hot chocolate... We had chocolate and pistachio flavored hand-piped cannoli and they were crunchy and fresh. You order and they fill - makes too much sense. We will return.

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
