No kidding, how do those actors look and feel like animals. The costuming in this play is to die for. It's unbelievable. Paid full price and sat on the 4th row. It's worth every penny to see these costumes up close. It's very kid friendly and many children were in attendance. My teenage daughter who is an art major was... More

My teenage daughter and I are huge musical theatre fans AND huge Disney fans AND huge Lion King fans... we planned a trip to NYC around our Lion King tickets... imagine our disappointment when we found ourselves not enjoying the epic show we have been wanting to see for so many years...! The opening number was fantastic, but unfortunately, it... More

So being a Disney lover my whole life, and having grown up with The Lion King as one of my favorite films, I went in to the play with very low expectations. But I must say that they did such a wonderful job bringing every scene to life! It was vibrant, rich, and captivating! I loved every minute of it!

This is a must see in new york, we booked our tickets before going but there was actually cheaper there on the day. This is everything you want in a Broadway show. Take a tissue

This show definitely went above and beyond my expectations. The props and costumes are amazing. The talent of the actors to be able to sing, dance and control those costumes is just fascinating. I would highly recommend.

If you are in New York and have to see a Broadway. This should be definitely first on your list, no questions. The colors, the singing, dancing and characters are a spectacle not to be missed. Recommend buying tickets as early as possible and take the seats in the center on the lower deck, not mezzanine, no matter whatever savings... More

Have seen may Broadway shows and the LION KING is one of my top 3. Great show for all ages. The music, dancing and acting and scenery in this show was top notch. You will be singing along and tapping your feet the entire time, and will leave this show happy.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
