Worst experience ever! There was a elderly woman who was extremely rude. While we were picking the blueberries (with their permission) the elderly woman was staring at us very rudely and at some point she came to us and yelled, "You know this is not a supermarket!" Then she told us that we were STEALING the fruits! Then we told... More

If you can find it, fruits and berries are excellent all season. Prices are better than the tourist oriented orchard on Rt. 15. This one is a long standing family business, adjacent to a subdivision in Thurmont, just before you drive into Cactoctin Forest. Ask someone in Thurmont for directions.

I found this place by luck several years ago and have been coming back ever since. In July and August the peaches are beautiful, then in the Fall the apple crop is fantastic. I recently stopped by for some Cameo apples and this years crop was spectacular! If you have never tried one I would highly recommend it, but on... More

Every time we come to Thurmont, we just have to stop at Pryor's Orchard. We love their apples, pears, and squash. Important note: they only take cash.

A great place to pick up fresh fruit and vegetables, with different kinds of peaches ripening all summer, plus apples, plums, pears, beets, potatoes, etc. All totally fresh and bargain-priced by the bushel if you want large quantities.

We stopped by today and got 2 huge bags of green beans and some early peaches.. they also had a decent selection of seasonal produce such as zuchinni, tomatoes, beets... I stop here 2x a month for fruit during the season, prices are reasonable and the produce is yummy

We always look forward to our annual trip to Pryor's but this year our day was ruined by an inattentive and down right nasty staff member who couldn't be bothered to answer our questions and even resorted to mocking us by overtly reading us the wall signs describing the apples and muttering under her breath Maybe we just caught them... On a recent road trip to Thurmont, MD we stopped at Pryor's. We love the people who work there. There are very helpful and knowledgeable. Last year we were given advice to keep our apples in a cooler in the garage for the winter and we had apples for the winter! They even let you test out if the fruit... More
