This museum is a strange mix of an historic armory building, birthplace of Douglas McArthur and museum to his life, and a lot of other exhibits about wars in the last couple hundred years, with emphasis on the role of Arkansas. The exhibits on McArthur gave a good insight to his life and contribution to the country. The other exhibits... More

The museum is free and worth the stop. It's not just MacArthur history, but history of past conflicts in general. The museum flows well and we easily spent an hour learning, reading, and discussing the exhibits. Highly recommend as a historical stop.

What a surprising find.... had no idea the information available about this sad part of our history and the history of Korea. Well worth stopping at this park to read all the information on the memorial walls.

This had a lot of information on MacArthur as well as other Arkansaw issues. The obligatory civil war but the Jeep exhibit was interesting.

You know you are in trouble when you ask the attendant where is it best to start and his response is "oh anywhere, there isn't any order to the exhibits!" Oops! He was right. This is just hodgepodge collection of memorabilia from different wars, with a section dedicated to MacArthur's role in the Korean War. There aren't very many real... More

Not only is the Korean War Memorial (honors Arkansas citizens who died in the conflict) a well designed and beautifully laid out tribute, but the building where General MacArthur was born is also worth visiting. While it is old and in need of some exterior repair (I was told... More

Excellent free museum. The exhibits are laid out well, very informative and located in the arsenal building from the 1800's.

In addition to the Korean War exhibits, the museum offers exhibits for WWI, WWII, Vietnam and the Civil War. I especially enjoyed reading the exhibits about Truman's dismissal of Gen. MacArthur during the Korean War. Free admission.
